eStory of RAK shoes

When your work is at the same time a love, a hobby and a dream come true, it can write a generational family story. Ours started more than a quarter of a century ago in Bánovce nad Bebravou.

It was the year of 1993 when we enthusiastically started making shoes for preschool children. At that time we mainly produced children's textile slippers, which you may have worn in the kindergarten. This fact warms our hearts and moves us forward. We are a proud Slovak company, we respect our traditions, generational memory and satisfied customers.

At RAK we enjoy combining functionality with innovative and imaginative design. We experiment with enthusiasm, collect inspiration, combine colours, listen to your wishes and receive feedback with gratitude. In our e-shop you will find slippers for first steps, leather shoes and sneakers, traditional textile slippers, but also innovative slippers with memory foam, which copies the 3D shape of the foot.

We use only certified materials from Europe. We strive for an ecological production process. And although machines at RAK help us with production, the human factor is not negligible for us. Did you know that each shoe passes through the hands of up to thirty-five people during the production? Satisfied and loyal employees are important to us, which is why we strive to maintain a stable work team.

Our priority is responsible business. We feel responsibility to the environment and society, and that is why our goal is sustainable production. We try not to produce unnecessary waste, so we produce shoes exclusively on the basis of orders with a minimum stock. This fact explains our delivery times. Together with you we contribute at least a little to the protection of our planet.

We want RAK to be synonymous with responsibility, fairness, perseverance and joy at the same time.

If you want to match your little one’s shoes and slippers with a complete outfit, we have recently added organic cotton clothing with a GOTS certificate made in Slovakia to our offer.
